AI Hackathon 2026 – Data Protection Guidelines

Use only authorized and lawful data provided by the Hackathon team.

Any data brought by participants will be thoroughly reviewed, analyzed, and approved by the Hackathon team before usage.

Do not use any production or personal data in the system. Always anonymize or use only test data during development and testing.

Clearly define the purpose of data processing before implementation.

Using any real or personal data requires appropriate exceptions and explicit approval before embedding it in the system.

All AI activity must run inside the provided sandbox. Do not connect to production or live systems inside or outside the Etihad environment.

Follow secure-by-design principles and secure coding guidelines at all times.

Ensure that third-party components or libraries do not introduce license or copyright violations.

Secrets must be stored only in approved vault solutions.

Code ownership follows the Hackathon Terms & Conditions.

Plagiarism or IP infringement will result in disqualification and appropriate disciplinary actions.
